Winston Churchill Memorial Trust announces its 2019 Fellows

11 UK citizens have been awarded Churchill Fellowships to research new ideas in issues relevant to nursing and allied health professions, thanks to a partnership between The Burdett Trust for Nursing and the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, with support from FoNS Centre for Nursing Innovation and the Royal College of Nursing.

Churchill Fellowships offer UK citizens a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel the world and research a topic of their own choosing.

The issues being researched by this year’s Churchill Fellows range from digital technology to physical activity for cancer patients, from dementia care to support for survivors of critical illnesses. They will use their findings from overseas to inspire positive change in the UK upon their return.
